HSS 5301W U.S. Health Policy
This course provides students with an overview of the public policymaking process in the United States. Students will learn about the different phases of the policy process and concepts like policymakers and their environment, policy problems, agenda setting, decision-making, and policy implementation. The course is blended with policy examples with a focus on health policy, which will provide students with an understanding of the history and current status of health policy in the United States.
