CN 5313W Medical Nutrition Therapy in Pediatrics

This course applies principles of medical nutrition therapy to the care of infants, children, and adolescents. Students use growth charts to assess and interpret the growth status of pediatric patients. Selection and use of specialized infant formulas to promote appropriate growth in children with a variety of chronic and acute conditions, including genetic disorders, are covered.
