DPT 5137 EVIDENCE-BASED CLIN RSCH II
This course is the second in the Evidence-Based Clinical Research series. Students will focus on developing a "Capstone-like" project proposal that will entail one of the following project categories: a current faculty assisted clinical research project, a faculty mentored systematic review of the literature on a defined clinical question, or a faculty mentored clinical case report. Specific skills to be demonstrated based on selected project category would include: 1. development of
appropriate research design methodology, clinical question, or case study relevance; 2. integration of clinical experience; 3. application of selecting and critically reviewing research evidence to augment clinical decision making; and 4. development of scholarly writing skills. The final peer-reviewed project will be completed in the final clinical research series.
