Student Engagement

UT Southwestern values student empowerment because it enhances the educational experience of our students and enriches the Medical Center community. UTSW strives to provide the state with health care professionals who mirror the population they serve. To meet this goal, we offer programs and organizations that support the needs and career aspirations of all students. The UT Southwestern Office of Student Empowerment and Engagement is dedicated to helping ensure students' success. The Peter O'Donnell Jr. School of Public Health does not use race or ethnicity as a factor in admission decisions.
