Graduation Requirements

All Ph.D. students are required to complete the Ph.D. public health core courses. In addition, students of each concentration have their separate required coursework. There are electives offered under each concentration. However, students can take the required courses from another concentration as their electives with the approval of their adviser and Ph.D. program director.    

The curriculum includes 18-24 credit hours in core courses, 12 credit hours in public health courses, 15 credit hours in elective courses, and 24 dissertation credit hours; 60 semester credit hours are required to complete the program.
