HPSA 5313 GIS Applications in Public Health

An introduction to geographic information systems and related geospatial technologies (remote sensing, GPS, etc.), with an emphasis on their usage in public health research and practice. This course also covers acquisition and use of large spatial datasets and complex spatiotemporal datasets.
