EPID 5301 Advanced Epidemiology and Causal Inference

This course will focus on causal inference and its applications to epidemiology. Course material will delve into the intricacies of causality, bias (confounding, information, and selection), and effect measure modification. Students will learn to critically evaluate epidemiological data and strengths and limitations of different studies. Students will also be introduced to techniques of bias analysis to assess the magnitude and direction of bias.
