EPID 5300 Statistical Foundations of Epidemiologic Methods

This course delves into the statistical underpinnings of epidemiological methods, equipping students with the tools to analyze different studies including cohort, case-control, and cross-sectional studies. Students will gain a deeper understanding of concepts of matching, confounding, and interaction, and learn to apply them in real-world scenarios. The course will also introduce epidemiologic modeling using logistic regression.
