PED 2027W INTRO PEDS NEUROMUSC DISEASE
This will be a clinical introduction to pediatric neuromuscular disease with focus on common disorders such as Duchenne muscular dystrophy, spinal muscular atrophy and myasthenia gravis. This course will expose medical students to pediatric neuromuscular disease (NMD) as a field. Students will learn symptoms of NMD in the context of normal early development. We will highlight aspects of the NM exam from birth to adolescence.
