PUBH 5310 Qualitative Research Methods
This course will provide an overview of qualitative research in public health. Course content and class discussions address when qualitative methods are appropriate and how the results can inform health policy decisions. Health care and health policy examples are used to present methods including ethnography, interviews, focus groups, and content analysis. The course includes hands-on exercises and students develop and conduct a qualitative research project.
