MPA 5204 CLIN PREVEN & POPULATION HLTH
This course provides an introduction to the practice of disease prevention and population health. Through course readings, lectures, and discussions, the student will be exposed to an evidence-based approach to disease screening and methods for promoting healthy behavior in diverse populations in a culturally competent manner. In addition, the students will study how social determinants of health and the various components of the health care system affect patient outcomes.
