QDS 5304 Health Data Science Methods II: Multilevel Data Analysis

This course primarily covers topics related to study design and appropriate data analysis using advanced statistical approaches that are often utilized in various public health research including health-related behavioral change and interventions studies. Topics include (1) various regression analysis methods for binary, continuous, or count/rate outcome variables; (2) longitudinal data analysis; (3) multilevel data analysis for handling clustered data structure; (4) dimensionality reduction approaches for highly correlated data; and (5) analysis methods for matched data. Data analysis will be performed using SAS or other suitable statistical packages including R.
