Factors considered for selection of applicants are overall grade-point average, science grade-point average, consistency or improvement in academic performance, attitude, communication skills, leadership, and personal qualities such as maturity, empathy, and career motivation. Direct patient-care experience in a health care setting is highly recommended.

Admission to the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program is competitive and is based on the criteria outlined in the Evaluation of Applicants.
