QDS 5203 Outbreak Investigation & Response
This course presents the methodology, study design, tools, and specific steps to take in investigating outbreaks. While principle will be the core of the course, it will focus on those outbreaks caused by infectious pathogens. In addition to didactic training, students will work through case examples, perform analyses, discuss readings, and review ethical, legal, laboratory techniques that can be utilized and other issues associated with investigation and response.
