ACR 5105 ETHICS IN CLINICAL SCIENCE
This 1-credit course examines advanced topics in research integrity and related ethical challenges in clinical and translational research. It builds on the topic areas covered in
CTM 5107 - Responsible Conduct of Research to address specialized aspects of the core subjects outlined in NIH policy (
https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-22-055.html). With permission of the instructor, it may be taken before or independently of
CTM 5107. The goal of the course is to provide early career investigators and administrators in clinical research with a framework of ethical standards and best practices from which to recognize, examine, and resolve questions in research integrity and ethics in their own work.
