NEUR 2002 EXPLORATION OF NEURO ONCOLOGY

This is a 2-week introductory course enabling the students to explore the field of Neuro-Oncology. The students will learn how to provide the best possible care to patients with malignant brain and spinal cord neoplasms. Medical students in this elective will learn the management approaches to a variety of neuro-oncologic tumors and neurologic complications of cancer. The purpose of the course is to allow the students the opportunity to explore a career in Neuro-Oncology, and/or to acquire knowledge in this specialty regarding appropriate referrals, consults, etc. relevant to future career plans.

Must successfully complete NEUR 1805 prior to enrollment
