University Accreditation: The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award master’s, doctoral (Ph.D/D.P.T.), and medical professional (M.D.) degrees. Normal inquiries about UT Southwestern Medical Center, such as admission requirements, financial aid, educational programs, etc., should be addressed directly to UT Southwestern Medical Center and not to the Commission’s office. The Commission is to be contacted only if there is evidence that appears to support and institution’s significant noncompliance with a requirement or standardIn addition to SACSCOC Accreditation, some programs have additional programmatic accreditations.

 

Program Accreditations: The Master of Clinical Nutrition Coordinated Program is granted accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education. The Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program is accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant. The Master of Prosthetics-Orthotics Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs upon the recommendation of the National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education.
