MM 5202 VIRAL GENETICS & PATH II
Examines virulence and replication mechanisms of viral pathogens. Topics that will be addressed include viral entry, assembly and egress, replication of RNA and DNA viruses, viral transcription and post transcriptional mechanisms, viral immune evasion strategies a, and tools to study viruses. Emphasis will be placed on original experimentation and literature.
