Graduate School Tuition Schedule
Within the Graduate School, the Division of Basic Science pays tuition and fees during the first year. In subsequent years, tuition and fees are paid from research grants awarded to students’ dissertation mentors or from an institutional NIH training grant associated with various areas of research training, with the exception of students in the Clinical Psychology program.
For information on specific programs, visit the Graduate School’s Cost and Financial Support page. All students studying for a Ph.D. in Basic Sciences receive a nationally competitive research assistantship of $35,000 per year throughout the course of their Ph.D. studies.
Differential Tuition Supplement: The Differential Tuition Supplement for Biomedical Engineering courses is $50 per semester credit hour.
Dissection Lab Fee: Students in HCS 4309, HCS 5309, or BME 5308 pay $410 per course enrollment.
