UT Southwestern Medical Center is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), inclusive of the Peter O'Donnell Jr. School of Public Health and its constituent programs. 

The O'Donnell School of Public Health will be applying for accreditation through CEPH (Council on Education for Public Health) at the earliest point at which it is eligible to do so.
