Requirements for Admission
Applicants to the Physician Assistant Studies Program are required to have a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. or Canadian institution prior to matriculation. Three letters of reference are required with the application. Applicants must submit official scores from the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) in order to be received by Sept. 1 of the year of application submission. The GRE is not required of applicants who have a U.S.-acquired master’s degree or higher. A minimum grade-point average of 3.0 in science courses and 3.0 overall are required for admission, along with the following prerequisite coursework:

*Science courses must be for science majors and include a laboratory.
All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C or better and taken within the last 10 years. Additionally, all prerequisite courses must be completed by the date the application is submitted.
